In addition to full page spreads in magazines like the Pastel Journal, Christine has taken part in many juried shows over the years and has received numerous awards for her paintings.  Most notably her bison painting "Summer Pastures" was a finalist in The Artist's Magazine's 26th Annual Art Competition which attracted 14,000 worldwide entrants.

Christine's obvious passion for technique, skill level and knowledge of all things oil, acrylic and pastel have made her a sought after instructor as well. She has a background in Adult Education and Facilitation and enjoys coaching and encouraging other artists. She has written several educational articles to help artists hone their basic skills as she believes that great art starts with foundational skills.

Besides painting she enjoys fly fishing, curling, hiking and backpacking.
