Pastel paintings are archival: they do not fade! They hold true to their colors over hundreds of years. Pastel paintings are rich with pigment along with the archival support they are painted on (pastel paper, Canson Mi Tientes, etc).

You are buying an original. This means there is no other painting in the world that looks like this one; it is unique and created entirely by Christine Camilleri. Even after 30 years of painting, Christine still creates no two identical pieces. Each exemplifies her interpretation skills and artistry.
The paintings displayed on my website are as true to the originals as possible. No distortion of the digital image has been used. That said there may be slight saturation shifts (slightly darker or lighter than the image). This is normal as a photograph cannot capture an identical image. Moreover, different digital screens may also affect how the painting looks.

The dimensions and medium of the painting are clearly stated and whether they are framed or not framed. If it doesn't say "framed" it is unframed. If the painting is to fill a certain place in your home use a tape measure to see if it will fit your space before ordering.
